This early immersion ignited a lifelong passion for movement and expression, propelling her to excel not only as a dancer but also as a visionary entrepreneur.

 

Combining her Caribbean heritage with keen marketing insights, Katara founded MasXpressions Productions, a dynamic entity offering bespoke entertainment solutions for Caribbean markets. As the Founder/CEO, she orchestrates artist management, event production, and touring, championing cultural expression and nurturing emerging talent.

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Katara serves as a Brand Ambassador for Zurena, leveraging her strategic acumen to enhance the visibility of all-natural Caribbean drink mixers.

With over 14 years of hospitality experience, collaborating with industry giants like Marriott and Highgate Hotels, Katara seamlessly transitions into event planning and marketing roles, crafting unforgettable experiences and compelling narratives that captivate audiences.

A staunch advocate for community empowerment, Katara channels her energy into Elaine’s House, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing young girls aged 8 to 18. Through culturally responsive programs and strategic partnerships, she equips the next generation with the tools for success and personal growth.

As a testament to her commitment to arts education, Katara serves as a professional dance educator, imparting invaluable lessons in Modern, Jazz, and Ballet to children aged 5 to 12. She also serves as the Executive Director of MasX Dance Co, a dance company influencing Afro-Caribbean culture through dance and art.

In the digital realm, Katara’s impact is felt through Beyond the Kulture, an innovative multimedia platform she created and hosts, celebrating and embracing Caribbean culture. Additionally, she co-hosts Thrive As I Am, a podcast fostering healing, inspiration, and personal growth through shared experiences.
